About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and people-oriented HR Assistant Manager to join our hospitality team. In this role, you will work closely with the HR Manager to support all human resources functions across our property/properties — from talent acquisition and onboarding to employee relations, compliance, and engagement. Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end recruitment for hotel/restaurant/resort roles including front office, F&B;, housekeeping, and back-of-house positions
- Coordinate onboarding and induction programs to ensure a smooth experience for new hires
- Maintain accurate HR records using the property management or HRIS system; manage employee files, contracts, and documentation
- Support payroll processing by managing attendance, leaves, and monthly inputs; coordinate with the accounts team for timely disbursements
- Handle employee relations — address grievances, conduct exit interviews, and support disciplinary processes in line with company policy
- Drive employee engagement initiatives including recognition programs, team events, staff welfare activities, and open-door sessions
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and statutory requirements (PF, ESIC, gratuity, Shops & Establishment Act, and hospitality-specific regulations)
- Coordinate training and development programs including service excellence, hygiene standards, and skills upgrades
- Monitor attrition trends and support retention strategies across departments
- Assist in managing seasonal hiring cycles, contract staff, and bulk recruitment during peak periods
- Prepare HR MIS reports, headcount data,



and attrition analysis for management review
- Partner with department heads (Front Office, F&B;, Housekeeping, Kitchen) to address staffing needs proactively

What We're Looking For

- 4-5 years of HR experience, preferably in a hotel, resort, restaurant chain, or hospitality group
- MBA/PGDM in HR or a relevant postgraduate qualification
- Hands-on experience with high-volume recruitment and managing large, diverse workforces
- Working knowledge of statutory compliance and labor regulations applicable to the hospitality sector
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word); familiarity with HRIS or hotel PMS systems is a plus
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as per operational needs
- Calm under pressure with a problem-solving attitude — a hospitality mindset at heart

Good to Have

- Prior experience in a branded hotel chain (5-star, luxury, or budget segment)
- Knowledge of food safety, grooming standards, and hospitality compliance norms
- Multilingual skills are an advantage

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
