Job Title : Assistant Professor - Nursing

Educational Qualification :

- M.Sc. Nursing (mandatory) in any of the following specializations:

- Paediatric Nursing

- Psychiatric Nursing

- Obstetric & Gynaecological Nursing

Experience Required :

- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience after M.Sc. Nursing in a recognized Nursing College

Key Roles & Responsibilities :

- Deliver lectures, demonstrations, and practical sessions as per the nursing curriculum
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessment tools
- Guide and supervise students in clinical and academic activities
- Conduct internal assessments, examinations, and evaluations
- Participate in curriculum development and academic planning
- Maintain academic records, attendance, and student performance reports




- Mentor students for academic and professional growth
- Ensure compliance with nursing education standards and regulatory guidelines
- Participate in seminars, workshops, and research activities
- Support college administration and academic committees

Skills Required :

- Excellent teaching and communication skills
- Clinical expertise and practical knowledge
- Ability to mentor and guide students effectively
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, online teaching tools)
- Teamwork and organizational skills

- Valid Nursing Registration (State Nursing Council preferred)
