Position : PGT Legal Studies Teacher Department : Academics Location : DPS, Jankipuram

Job Summary

The PGT Legal Studies Teacher is responsible for teaching Legal Studies to senior secondary classes (XI & XII) in accordance with the CBSE curriculum. The teacher will develop students’ understanding of legal systems, constitutional values, judiciary processes, consumer rights, human rights, and contemporary legal issues through interactive and practical teaching methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Legal Studies lessons for Classes XI & XII.
- Teach topics related to Indian Constitution, judiciary, legal services, family laws, criminal laws, consumer protection, cyber laws, and human rights.
- Prepare lesson plans, assignments, worksheets, assessments, and question papers.
- Evaluate students’ academic performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Encourage critical thinking, analytical skills, debate, and case-study-based learning.
- Conduct mock trials,



legal awareness activities, seminars, and classroom discussions.
- Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a positive learning environment.
- Integrate technology and cutting-edge teaching methods into classroom instruction.
- Prepare students for board examinations and competitive examinations wherever applicable.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, academic planning, and training programs.
- Maintain accurate academic records and timely submission of reports.

Required Qualifications

- Master’s Degree in Law (LL.M / LL.B with relevant postgraduate qualification) or related field.
- B.Ed. degree is mandatory.
- Minimum 2-5 years of teaching experience in senior secondary classes preferred.
- Strong command over legal concepts and excellent communication skills.

Pay: Up to ₹45,000.00 per month
