Role Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Mathematics to Classes XI & XII as per CBSE/ICSE/Cambridge curriculum requirements.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessment materials.
- Deliver interactive and concept-based classroom teaching.
- Prepare students for board examinations and competitive exams where applicable.
- Monitor student performance and provide academic guidance and support.
- Conduct periodic tests, evaluations, and maintain academic records.
- Use up-to-date teaching methodologies and digital tools for effective learning.
- Maintain discipline and create a positive classroom environment.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, and academic planning sessions.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and coordinators for curriculum development.
- Encourage critical thinking, logical reasoning, and mathematical aptitude among students.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Mathematics from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. degree is mandatory.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Proficiency in using smart boards and digital teaching tools.
Experience
- Minimum 2-5 years of teaching experience in senior secondary classes preferred.
- Experience in CBSE board curriculum will be an advantage.
