Position: Lab Attendant (Physics, Biology & Chemistry) Key Roles & Responsibilities 1. Laboratory Preparation & Setup - Prepare the laboratory for practical classes as per the timetable. - Arrange and set up apparatus, chemicals, specimens, charts, and models required for experiments in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. - Ensure all equipment is clean, functional, and properly placed before the class begins. 2. Assistance During Practical Sessions - Assist teachers and students during practical experiments. - Provide required materials and ensure smooth conduct of lab activities. - Help students in handling apparatus and maintaining discipline in the lab. 3. Maintenance of Equipment & Materials - Clean, store, and maintain laboratory equipment after use. - Ensure proper labeling and secure storage of chemicals and biological specimens. - Report any damaged or malfunctioning equipment to the Lab Incharge. 4. Safety & Hygiene Management - Ensure all safety norms and precautions are followed in the lab. - Maintain first-aid kits, fire extinguishers, and safety equipment.



- Dispose of chemical waste and biological materials as per safety guidelines. - Keep the laboratory neat, clean, and hygienic at all times. 5. Record Keeping & Inventory - Maintain stock registers for chemicals, equipment, and consumables. - Keep records of issued and received items. - Assist in periodic stock verification and report shortages. 6. Support in Practical Exams - Assist in setting up laboratories for internal and external practical examinations. - Arrange required materials and ensure smooth execution of exams. - Support examiners and teachers during practical assessments. 7. Procurement Support - Assist in preparing lists of required lab materials and chemicals. - Coordinate with administration for timely procurement. Qualifications and Experience: - Bachelor´s degree in Science (B.Sc) or Masters in Science - Diploma / Certificate in Laboratory Technology / Lab Assistant Course will be preferred. - Basic knowledge of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology laboratory procedures. - Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a Lab Attendant in a CBSE affiliated school. Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
