Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced, dedicated, and visionary Principal to lead our Residential School. The Principal will be responsible for academic excellence, student discipline, staff management, hostel supervision, and overall campus operations. The role requires staying on campus and being actively involved in students’ academic and residential life.

Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic Leadership

- Ensure high academic standards across all grades.
- Implement curriculum effectively and monitor teaching quality.
- Conduct regular classroom observations and teacher evaluations.
- Support lesson planning, assessments, and student progress tracking.
- Organize remedial programs and enrichment activities.

Student Welfare & Discipline

- Maintain strict discipline and positive campus culture.
- Monitor student behaviour, attendance, and overall well-being.
- Address student concerns promptly.
- Ensure safety and emotional support of residential students.

Hostel & Residential Management

- Supervise hostel operations including routines, hygiene, food, and safety.
- Coordinate with wardens, caretakers, and support staff.
- Ensure smooth daily schedules: wake-up, study hours, meals, activities, and lights-off.
- Handle emergencies and parent communication related to hostel students.

Staff Management

- Lead, motivate, and manage teaching and non-teaching staff.
- Conduct regular meetings and trainings.
- Ensure punctuality, professionalism, and accountability of staff.
- Participate in recruitment and induction of teachers.

Parent & Management Coordination

- Maintain transparent communication with parents and management.
- Provide regular academic and hostel reports.
- Represent the school professionally in meetings and events.

Administration & Compliance

- Oversee school records, examinations, timetables, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with education board norms and safety regulations.
- Support admissions and promotional activities when required.

Required Qualifications

- Master’s Degree in Education / Relevant Subject (B.Ed / M.Ed preferred)
- Minimum 5-10 years of teaching experience with leadership exposure
- Prior experience in Residential / Boarding School preferred
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to stay on campus full-time
