At TRS, we believe Mathematics in the early years should build confidence, clarity and comfort with numbers.. We are looking for a teacher who can make Mats meaningful, visual and engaging , helping children understand concepts rather than memorise procedures.
What This Role Involves
- Teaching Mathematics across Std I-IV with a robust focus on conceptual understanding :
- Building strong number sense, logical thinking and problem-solving skills :
- Making Mats interactive and relatable through activities, examples and real-life connections
- Supporting students in developing accuracy along with understanding :
- Creating a classroom environment where children feel confident to attempt, make mistakes and learn
What We Are Looking For
- Strong fundamental understanding of Mathematics :
- Ability to explain concepts in a simple and engaging manner :
- Good communication skills (spoken English is important)
- Patience and the ability to work with children at different learning levels :
- A structured and organised approach to teaching
- A sense of ownership and responsibility in the classroom
