Job Summary

The Hotel Cashier will handle all cash and payment transactions at the hotel, ensuring accurate billing, smooth customer payments, and proper financial record-keeping. The role requires honesty, attention to detail, and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments from hotel guests
- Issue bills and receipts accurately for room charges, food, and services
- Maintain the cash register and balance daily cash collections
- Verify transactions and report discrepancies to management
- Assist guests with billing inquiries and payment issues
- Maintain records of daily transactions and deposits

Customer Service

- Ensure polite and professional interactions with hotel guests
- Resolve payment-related queries promptly
- Assist front desk staff with smooth check-in and check-out processes

Coordination and Reporting





- Coordinate with the front desk and accounting departments
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cash reports
- Assist auditors during internal and statutory audits

Required Skills :

- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic accounting knowledge
- Attention to detail and honesty
- Familiarity with POS systems or hotel management software
- Basic computer skills, especially MS Excel

Qualifications

- High School Diploma or Graduate in Commerce preferred
- 2-3 years of experience in cashier or hotel operations
- Experience in hospitality or retail is an advantage

Job Types : Full time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
