Job Description - Cashier (KARVAAN)
Position: Cashier
Reporting To: Restaurant Manager
Role Purpose: To ensure accurate billing, smooth payment processing, proper cash handling, and a pleasant checkout experience for every customer.
Key Responsibilities: Generate accurate bills using the POS system.
Collect payments through cash, UPI, cards, and other digital modes.
Maintain proper cash records and reconcile collections at the end of each shift.
Handle billing for dine-in, takeaway, and delivery orders.
Ensure all discounts, cancellations, and complimentary bills are approved by the Manager.
Assist customers with billing-related queries in a courteous manner.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the billing counter.
Report any billing discrepancies or system issues immediately.
Coordinate with the service team to ensure smooth order processing.
Key Skills: Basic accounting and cash handling knowledge.
Familiarity with POS billing software.
Positive communication and customer service skills.
Honest, accurate, and detail-oriented.
Ability to work efficiently during busy hours.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
