We are looking for a qualified and compassionate Optometrist to provide comprehensive eye care services and assist in the dispensing of eyewear, including frames, lenses, and contact lenses.

To succeed in this role, you should have strong clinical knowledge, attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal skills to التعامل with patients of all age groups.

Key Responsibilities Clinical & Patient Care

- Perform comprehensive eye and vision examinations
- Diagnose vision conditions such as myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, presbyopia, and glaucoma
- Detect eye diseases and abnormalities and recommend appropriate treatment plans
- Prescribe corrective lenses, medications, and vision therapy when required
- Educate patients on proper eye care and preventive practices
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Schedule follow-ups and monitor patient progress
- Refer patients to ophthalmologists or specialists when necessary

Optical Dispensing & Sales

- Assist patients in selecting appropriate frames and lenses based on prescription, lifestyle, and preferences

- Recommend lens options (single vision, bifocal, progressive, coatings, etc.)

- Measure and ensure accurate fitting of eyewear

- Dispense and adjust eyeglasses for optimal comfort and vision





- Guide patients on contact lens selection, fitting, usage, and care :

- Train patients on insertion, removal, and maintenance of contact lenses

- Handle basic troubleshooting and adjustments for eyewear

Requirements & Skills

- Proven experience as an Optometrist
- Degree in Optometry and valid license to practice
- Strong understanding of eye conditions and vision correction methods
- Hands-on experience with diagnostic tools (e.g., ophthalmoscope, retinoscope, tonometer)
- Knowledge of optical dispensing (frames, lenses, contact lenses)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain medical concepts clearly
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Patient-focused approach with empathy and professionalism

Preferred Qualifications (Optional)

- Experience in optical retail or clinic setup
- Sales or customer service experience in eyewear
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
