Role Description The Assistant Manager – Collections will oversee and manage day-to-day collections activities, ensuring timely recovery of outstanding dues while maintaining a customer-centric approach. This full time, on-site role is based in Mumbai and involves monitoring collection targets, analyzing portfolio performance, and implementing strategies to reduce delinquencies. The role includes managing and guiding collection teams or agencies, ensuring adherence to regulatory and internal compliance standards,



and maintaining accurate records and reports.

The Assistant

Manager will communicate with customers to negotiate payment plans where necessary, resolve escalations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams such as risk, operations, and customer service to improve collection processes and outcomes.

Qualifications

- Experience in collections, credit control, or recovery operations within financial services or banking.
- Strong analytical and reporting abilities, including proficiency with MS Excel and basic data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills for engaging with customers and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage teams or external agencies, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and compliance requirements related to collections and lending.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field; relevant certifications in credit or collections are an added advantage.
- Comfort working on-site in Mumbai with flexibility to handle extended hours when business needs require.
