Role Description The Coordinator of Volunteer is a part-time role responsible for organizing, supporting, and developing volunteer activities that align with the Faculty’s programs and community engagement initiatives. This hybrid position is based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, with a combination of in office coordination and remote tasks such as planning, reporting, and communication. Day-to-day responsibilities include recruiting and onboarding volunteers, scheduling and tracking volunteer assignments, and providing training and guidance to ensure effective participation.

The role also involves maintaining clear communication with volunteers and faculty staff, coordinating outreach efforts, and monitoring volunteer feedback to improve the overall volunteer experience. The Coordinator will collaborate with academic and administrative teams to ensure volunteer efforts are well integrated and compliant with institutional policies.

Qualifications





- Candidates should possess strong volunteer management skills, including experience in Volunteer Management and Volunteer Training.
- Candidates should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including Interpersonal Skills and Communication.
- Candidates should possess abilities in community-focused initiatives, including Community Outreach and relationship-building with local organizations.
- Candidates should have proven organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple activities in a part-time hybrid environment.
- Relevant experience in academic, nonprofit, or community-based settings is beneficial.
- A diploma or degree in social sciences, humanities, management, or a related field is an advantage.
- Comfort with basic digital tools and remote collaboration platforms is preferred.
