Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer – Java Backend with 5–7 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Java 21+, Spring Boot, AWS, NoSQL databases, RESTful APIs, and search technologies such as OpenSearch/Elasticsearch.

The role involves building production-grade microservices and APIs while collaborating closely with backend, frontend, and DevOps teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build production-grade backend services following REST API design best practices.
- Work with AWS services, including configuration management using AWS Systems Manager (SSM) Parameter Store.
- Develop solutions using NoSQL databases such as ScyllaDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB, or equivalent.
- Implement search capabilities using OpenSearch and/or Elasticsearch.
- Work with Spring Data JPA and persistence frameworks.
- Participate in GitLab CI/CD pipelines, merge request workflows, and automated deployments.
- Apply strong knowledge of OOP and creational design patterns in application development.




- Implement robust error-handling strategies and HTTP request/response lifecycles.
- Develop unit and integration tests using JUnit, Mockito, and related Java testing frameworks.
- Collaborate effectively with backend, frontend, and DevOps teams.
- Independently drive assigned tasks, proactively identify blockers, and recommend solutions.
