Role Description The MEP Design Head – Mechanical will lead mechanical design activities for building and industrial projects, overseeing the complete design lifecycle from concept to execution. This full-time, on-site role in Pune City involves managing a design team, reviewing and approving mechanical layouts, performing technical calculations, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications. The role includes coordinating with electrical, plumbing, and civil teams, participating in design review meetings, and providing technical guidance during installation, testing, and commissioning.

The MEP Design Head – Mechanical will also support bid proposals, optimize designs for cost and efficiency,



and maintain documentation and design quality for all mechanical systems.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust Mechanical Engineering expertise, including applied design principles and understanding of MEP systems.
- Candidates should possess Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills for creating, reviewing, and modifying mechanical layouts and drawings.
- Candidates should possess Maintenance and Inspection skills for evaluating system performance, reliability, and compliance with safety standards.
- Candidates should possess experience in Automotive or related mechanical domains that demonstrate robust design, analysis, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proven experience leading mechanical design teams in MEP or EPC projects, preferably medium to large scale.
- Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and best practices for HVAC, fire-fighting, plumbing, and other building services.
- Strong project coordination, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with the ability to work on-site in Pune City.
- Proficiency in common design and engineering software; familiarity with BIM tools is an advantage.
- Ability to mentor junior engineers, manage multiple projects, and deliver accurate designs within deadlines.
