Job Summary The Software Development Engineer in Test IV (SDET IV) is part of the AI-delivery team and responsible for designing quality architectures, test frameworks, and validation strategies that span multiple systems and AI initiatives. You will influence how complex, distributed, and AI-enabled systems are designed, tested, and operated—ensuring quality is built in from the earliest stages of development through production and beyond. You will collaborate closely with Software Engineers, AI/ML Engineers, Data Scientists, Product Architects, and Platform teams to anticipate failure modes, reduce systemic risk, and help teams deliver AI solutions that are observable, resilient, and trustworthy in production.
• Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, India is a requirement of the role. Mode of Working: This role follows a hybrid work model, with a primary base in Bengaluru. While on-site presence is essential for key engagements, flexibility is offered for remote work based on business needs and team alignment. Skills And Background You’ll Need

Education:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is required. A Master’s degree is preferred.





Experience:
8+ years of experience in software engineering, quality engineering, or SDET roles, with demonstrated ownership of quality architecture and test strategy across multiple complex systems.
• Expert-level programming skills in Python (or a comparable language) and experience designing scalable, reusable test frameworks and tooling.
• Deep experience designing test strategies across distributed systems, APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Proven experience validating AI
- and ML-enabled systems, including model inference behavior, data quality, orchestration logic, and non-deterministic system behavior.
• Experience designing and analyzing performance, load, stress, and resilience testing for high-throughput, low-latency systems.
• Strong understanding of observability, monitoring, and reliability engineering practices, including how test signals feed into operational health.
• Extensive experience integrating quality engineering into CI/CD pipelines and influencing build, release, and deployment practices. Azure DevOps preferred. Key Behaviors of a Successful Candidate
