Radiant Semiconductors is expanding its offerings to include Embedded, Automotive, and Software sectors, enabling integrated product and design (P&D;) services across multiple technology domains. This growth provides opportunities for professionals to work on diverse projects in VLSI, Embedded, Automotive, and Software, collaborating with international teams and customers. Role Description The Physical Design Manager will lead and oversee end-to-end physical design activities, ensuring high-quality implementation from RTL to GDSII for complex SoCs and ASICs. This full-time, on-site role is based in the Greater Bengaluru Area and involves managing a team of physical design engineers, driving project schedules, and coordinating with RTL, verification, and timing sign-off teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include floorplanning, placement, clock tree synthesis, routing, timing closure, power optimization, and close collaboration with physical verification teams for sign-off. The manager will also contribute to methodology improvements, review design constraints, resolve design and implementation issues,
and communicate project status and risks to stakeholders. Mentoring team members, conducting technical reviews, and maintaining best practices in physical design and sign-off flows are key aspects of this role. Qualifications
• Strong expertise in Physical Design, including floorplanning, placement, clock tree synthesis, routing, and implementation flows.
• Hands-on experience with Timing analysis and closure, including static timing analysis, constraint management, and sign-off methodologies.
• Proficiency in Power Analysis, power optimization techniques, and power integrity considerations in complex digital designs.
• Knowledge of Physical Verification flows, including DRC, LVS, and sign-off checks, and collaboration with PD and layout teams.
• Understanding of RTL Design concepts, interfaces, and constraints to support effective implementation and debug.
• Experience with industry-standard EDA tools (e.g., Cadence, Synopsys, or equivalent) for physical design, timing, and verification.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams, manage multiple projects, and drive schedules and quality targets.
• Robust problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
• Prior experience in managing physical design teams or large, complex designs is highly beneficial.
