Role Description The Design For Test Engineer will work on-site in Bengaluru in a full-time capacity, focusing on DFT planning, implementation, and validation for complex semiconductor designs. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining DFT architectures, developing and integrating test structures such as scan, BIST, and boundary scan, and collaborating with design and verification teams to ensure testability requirements are met. The role involves generating and analyzing test patterns, optimizing test coverage,



and working closely with test engineering to enable efficient production testing on ATE platforms. The engineer will also support silicon bring-up, debug test-related issues, document DFT methodologies and results, and contribute to continuous improvement of test strategies, flows, and tools. Qualifications
• Strong foundation in Test Engineering and Testing concepts, including test planning, coverage analysis, and debug.
• Experience in Test Design, including scan insertion, BIST, boundary scan, and DFT architecture for ASIC/SoC designs.
• Solid background in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, with understanding of digital and mixed-signal circuits.
• Hands-on familiarity with Test Equipment such as ATE systems, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and relevant lab instrumentation.
• Proficiency with EDA tools for DFT (e.g., Synopsys, Cadence, or Mentor) and scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or TCL.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a closely related field.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate clearly, and document methodologies and results effectively.
• Experience with semiconductor product cycles, from design through post-silicon validation, is highly beneficial.
