Role Description The Sr.

Piping Engineer

Plant 3D will lead piping engineering, layout development, and 3D modeling for BioCNG and biogas projects, using Plant 3D and related tools to deliver constructible, safe, and efficient designs. This role includes performing detailed pipe routing, equipment nozzle orientation, and generating isometric drawings, bills of materials, and construction deliverables in coordination with process, mechanical, civil, and electrical teams. The engineer will be responsible for performing piping stress analysis, reviewing vendor drawings, checking design calculations,



and ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and company specifications.

Daily tasks also involve site coordination, resolving clashes and constructability issues, supporting fabrication in the workshop, and providing technical input during installation, testing, and commissioning. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid skills in piping design and Plant 3D modeling, including layout development and routing for process plants.
- Candidates should possess skills in piping engineering and pipe selection, including material specifications, sizing, and detailing for fabrication and installation.
- Candidates should possess skills in calculations and stress analysis, including flexibility checks, support design inputs, and code-compliant evaluations.
- Relevant experience in process or energy plants (biogas, BioCNG, oil & gas, chemical, or similar) and familiarity with applicable piping codes and standards.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Piping Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency with Plant 3D or similar 3D CAD platforms, and ability to generate GA drawings, isometrics, and MTOs.
- Strong collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and coordinating with workshop and site personnel.
