Role OverviewWe are seeking a hands-on Senior Network Security Engineer to act as the technical SME for enterprise network security services. The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, supporting and improving Fortinet security platforms across on-premises and Azure environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Own the design, implementation and support of Fortinet security platforms.
- Review and approve firewall, network segmentation and security design changes.
- Troubleshoot complex firewall, routing, VPN and cloud connectivity issues.
- Manage security incidents, vulnerability remediation and security governance activities.
- Lead network security projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct security architecture reviews, risk assessments and technical design approvals.
- Prepare and review High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs) and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, vendors and managed service providers.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security policies, standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical oversight for on-premises and cloud network security services.

Mandatory Skills




- Expert hands-on experience with Fortinet FortiGate Firewalls.
- Experience with FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer and Fortinet Security Fabric.
- Strong knowledge of firewall policies, HA, IPsec VPN, SSL VPN, NAT, application control, web filtering and IPS.
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking, secure routing, VPNs and network segmentation.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Azure Firewall.
- Strong understanding of Azure networking, Azure Load Balancers, Hub-and-Spoke architecture, VNet Peering and hybrid connectivity.
- Experience in enterprise firewall design, implementation, support and troubleshooting.
- Experience in security incidents, vulnerability remediation and governance.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Senior Engineer or SME in a security role.

Good-to-Have Skills
- Cisco Secure Firewall (FTD) and Firepower Management Center (FMC).
- Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA).
- Proxy services, web security platforms and security monitoring tools.
- Experience in financial services, insurance or other regulated industries.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to independently review complex security changes and lead major incident resolution.
- Experience working in large, complex enterprise environments.
