Role Description The Purchase Manager will oversee end-to-end procurement activities to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of raw materials, packaging, and other supplies. This full-time, in office role based in Lucknow involves managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and evaluating supplier performance to maintain quality and reliability.

The Purchase

Manager will track inventory levels, forecast demand, and coordinate with production and quality teams to align purchasing with operational needs. The role also includes monitoring market trends and pricing, maintaining accurate purchase records,



and implementing cost-control measures while adhering to company policies and food safety standards.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in procurement and vendor management, including supplier evaluation, negotiation, and contract management.
- Ability to manage inventory and logistics, including demand forecasting, stock control, and coordination with warehouses and production units.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting using spreadsheets or ERP tools to track purchases, costs, and supplier performance.
- Knowledge of FMCG or food industry operations, including quality standards, compliance requirements, and basic understanding of spice sourcing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners, and to resolve issues effectively.
- Solid organizational and time-management abilities, with a focus on accuracy, attention to detail, and meeting deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Commerce, or a related field; relevant certifications in purchasing or logistics are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a purchasing or supply chain role, preferably within food processing or FMCG, is highly beneficial.
