Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP DRC E-Invoicing Consultant to lead the architecture, configuration, and rollout of our global electronic invoicing and statutory reporting solutions. In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex tax regulations and modern IT architectures. You will use SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC) alongside SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) to automate digital invoice clearance and ensure compliance with impending legal mandates across the EMEA, Americas, and APAC regions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Solution Design & Configuration

- Implement and configure the SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC) framework, Electronic Document Processing Framework, and the EDOC_COCKPIT within SAP S/4HANA or ECC.

- Set up end-to-end data mapping and transformations utilizing the SAP Application Interface Framework (AIF) to convert billing data into mandated XML/hybrid formats (e.g., Peppol BIS Billing 3.0, ZUGFeRD, XRechnung, Factur-X).

- Activate and fine-tune pre-delivered SAP localized compliance scenarios for upcoming global electronic regulations (e.g., Germany, France, Slovakia, etc.).

2. Integration & Architecture

- Collaborate with integration teams to connect the S/4HANA core system to SAP BTP Cloud Edition (Compliance Integration service).

- Establish secure communications between the SAP environment, external Peppol Access Points, and centralized national tax authority platforms (e.g., Chorus Pro, SDIs, IRPs).

- Manage cross-functional dependencies across core SAP modules like FI-AR, FI-AP,



and SD to ensure uninterrupted upstream invoice triggers.

3. Testing, Rollout & Support

- Lead Fit/Gap analysis sessions during global scoping phases to isolate custom regional requirements from standardized global SAP processes.

- Drive test strategy, leading System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) alongside corporate tax/finance business users.

- Provide hypercare support following deployments and maintain an agile change-management routine to rapidly deploy SAP OSS Notes and regulatory framework updates.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline.

- SAP Expertise: Minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience in SAP DRC (Document and Reporting Compliance) or its predecessor, SAP Application Interface Framework (AIF) / eDocument Cockpit.

- Lifecycle Implementation: Proven track record of at least 2 full-lifecycle implementations of localized e-invoicing or e-reporting solutions.

- Core Modules: Solid functional knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI) and Sales & Distribution (SD) processes.

- Technical Literacy: Thorough understanding of XML/JSON schemas, digital signatures, certificates, and BTP cloud connector configurations.

Preferred Attributes (Nice to Have)

- Formal SAP certifications in SAP DRC or SAP S/4HANA Finance.

- Experience with transport registration compliance (e.g., SAF-T, e-Way bills).

- Qualified accounting or tax certifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA).
