YouMat is an online mental health and wellbeing platform. We’re building a network of mental health professionals who connect with clients through the platform so they can focus on the care they do best.

About the Role

As a YouMat Counsellor, you’ll deliver counselling sessions to clients on our platform while working on your own terms. You set your own hours and rates, work from anywhere, and reach clients beyond your local area. YouMat handles payments, infrastructure, and client acquisition, so you can spend your time on care. Success in this role means providing ethical, high-quality sessions that clients value and return to.

Responsibilities

- Deliver counselling sessions to clients through the YouMat platform, following ethical practice and client confidentiality.
- Set and manage your availability and session schedule on the platform.
- Complete the required onboarding and clinical interview process, then begin practising with YouMat.




- Keep client information confidential and handle it in line with platform guidelines.
- Refer clients to other resources or specialists when a concern falls outside your scope.
- Share feedback on the platform experience so we can improve it for counsellors and clients.

Qualifications

- Master’s degree in Psychology, Counselling, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience.
- RCI registration or an equivalent licence is welcome but not required. You can apply without one.
- Fluency in English. Additional regional languages are welcome.
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace for online sessions.
- Commitment to ethical practice and client confidentiality.
