Roles and Responsibilities
Responsibilities
As an Accountant at our firm, you will be responsible for handling end-to-end accounting and compliance tasks for various clients. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Accounting &
- Bookkeeping:
- Perform day-to-day accounting, bookkeeping, and voucher entry in Tally Prime / Zoho Books / QuickBooks.
- Finalization of accounts (Preparation of Trial Balance, Profit &
- Loss A/c, and Balance Sheet).
- Conduct Bank, Debtors, and Creditors reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards issued ICAI
- GST (Goods &
- Services Tax):
- Calculation of monthly GST liability and Input Tax Credit (ITC) utilization.
- Reconciliation of GSTR-2A/2B with purchase registers.
- Preparation and filing of monthly/quarterly/annual GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C).
- Assist in handling GST notices and department queries.

- TDS:
- Preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns (ITR 1 to 6) for individ
Skills Required
- Education:) / CA/CWA Inter (Dropouts). B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance
- Experience: Minimum [2 to 3] years of practical experience, preferably in a CA Firm environment.
- Software Skills: Strong hands-on experience with Tally Prime, MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.),
- Technical Knowledge: Well-versed with the Income Tax portal, GST portal, and MCA portal.
- Soft Skills: Good communication skills, high attention to detail, ability to meet strict statutory deadlines,
and a proactive team pla
