About The Role
Heads Up For Tails is looking for a Marketplace Growth Associate to drive growth across Amazon and Flipkart. The role combines hands-on execution with market research, product performance tracking and growth strategy. You will manage live ad campaigns, turn marketplace data and competitor intelligence into transparent insights, and help shape category penetration initiatives. It suits someone who is equally comfortable in a bulk sheet and in a growth discussion, and who wants to work on a substantial live budget within a growing performance marketing team.

Key Responsibilities
/ What You Will Do
• Campaign Execution, Optimisation & Reporting
• Set up, launch and optimise Sponsored Products, Brands and Display campaigns on Amazon and equivalent formats on Flipkart, managing bids, budgets and keywords daily.
• Publish daily and weekly dashboards on spend, sales, ACOS and TACOS, with clear commentary on key movements.
• Search Term Analysis & Competitor Tracking
• Analyse search term and placement reports to uncover new keywords, reduce wasted spend and scale high-converting queries.
• Track competitor ad presence, pricing and share of voice to identify conquesting and defence opportunities.
• Market Research & Competitive Benchmarking
• Conduct category and market research using Helium 10, Amazon Brand Analytics and Amazon PI to understand demand, trends and share.
• Benchmark HUFT products against competitors and share actionable insights with the wider team.
• Product Performance Tracking & Growth Ideas
• Track sales, bestseller status, rankings and conversion at product level, and flag listing, content, pricing or stock issues that affect performance.
• Recommend and test data-backed ideas to grow visibility, conversion and sales.
• Marketplace Growth Strategy & Category Penetration
• Contribute to Amazon and Flipkart growth plans,



including category expansion, hero ASIN scaling and deeper penetration in existing categories.
• Partner with performance marketing, category, catalogue and operations teams to execute initiatives and measure impact.
• Inventory, Regional Utilisation & Operational Hygiene
• Monitor inventory, regional utilisation and other operational metrics, flagging stock-outs and imbalances early.
• Maintain campaign structures, trackers and documentation to a standard that allows seamless handover. Qualifications & Skills / What You Need
• 1–3 years of hands-on marketplace experience (advertising, account management or growth), either brand-side or with an agency.
• Strong working knowledge of Amazon Ads and Amazon Seller/Vendor Central, with exposure to Flipkart Ads and Seller Hub.
• Graduate in any discipline; an MBA or a degree in marketing, business or analytics is a plus. Amazon Ads certification is an advantage.
• Strong analytical ability: advanced Excel and Google Sheets (pivots, lookups, basic modelling) and comfort working with large datasets.
• Experience with marketplace research tools such as Helium 10, Jungle Scout, Amazon Brand Analytics or similar, and the ability to turn data into clear insights.
• Understanding of marketplace dynamics such as rankings, buy box, listing quality, pricing, promotions and inventory impact on sales.
• Clear written and verbal communication, with the ability to present insights and coordinate with catalogue, category and operations teams.
• A high level of accuracy, attention to detail and ownership of a daily reporting cadence. Good To Have
• Experience running Meta ads.
• Exposure to quick commerce platforms and their advertising tools.
• Experience in category planning or marketplace growth strategy.
• Basic SQL, Power BI or Looker Studio skills.
• An interest in pets and pet care.
