Role Description The Production Engineer will be responsible for overseeing daily production activities at the Lawan in office facility in a full time capacity. Typical tasks include monitoring and optimizing production processes, coordinating production schedules, and ensuring that output meets quality and safety standards. The role involves analyzing production data, identifying process bottlenecks, and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime. The Production Engineer will collaborate closely with operations, maintenance,



and quality teams to resolve technical issues and support continuous improvement initiatives. This position also requires clear communication with supervisory staff and workers on the shop floor to ensure smooth and safe operations. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Production Engineering and Production Planning skills to manage and optimize manufacturing processes.
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret production data and support process improvements.
• Candidates should possess Quality Control skills to ensure adherence to standards and specifications.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and coordinate shop-floor activities.
• Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience in mining, metals, or heavy manufacturing environments is beneficial.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, lean manufacturing, and basic maintenance practices is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Lawan, manage multiple priorities, and maintain a focus on safe, reliable production.
