We purchase gold and silver from customers at competitive rates based on prevailing market prices, with a transparent valuation process and prompt payment. As part of our business expansion in Kolkata, we are looking for experienced, result-oriented Senior Branch Managers with a strong background in the Gold Loan Industry to lead branch operations, drive business growth, and build high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities
1. Branch Business Development & Target Achievement
• Take complete ownership of branch business performance, profitability, and growth.
• Drive monthly and daily business targets for gold buying, silver buying, gold loan settlement, and other company products.
• Develop and execute effective business generation strategies to consistently achieve branch targets.
• Identify high-value customers and generate business through direct customer meetings, referrals, and local market activities.
• Monitor business pipelines, customer appointments, and prospective transactions to ensure timely closures. 2. Customer Acquisition & Sales Conversion
• Generate new business through customer acquisition, existing customer engagement, and referral development.
• Ensure effective handling and conversion of walk-in customers, digital leads, and customer enquiries.
• Personally handle high-value customers, critical negotiations, and business closures.
• Build strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat transactions and referrals.
• Conduct field visits, customer meetings,



and local business development activities as required. 3. Team Leadership & Performance Management
• Lead, motivate, train, and monitor the branch team.
• Assign individual targets and monitor daily productivity and performance.
• Conduct daily business reviews and ensure effective follow-up on commitments.
• Coach team members on customer handling, sales conversion, and business development.
• Build a performance-driven culture with clear accountability and teamwork. 4. Branch Operations & Compliance
• Oversee daily branch operations, customer service, transaction processing, and documentation.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, KYC requirements, valuation procedures, and internal controls.
• Coordinate with the Operations Department for transaction approvals and operational matters.
• Maintain proper records, transaction accuracy, security procedures, and audit readiness.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and operational discipline. 5. Local Market Development
• Develop solid business networks within the branch catchment area.
• Establish relationships with potential customers and relevant local business contacts.
• Monitor competitor activities, local market opportunities, and customer requirements.
• Execute local marketing initiatives to increase branch visibility, customer footfall, and business volume. 6. MIS Reporting & Business Reviews
• Prepare and submit daily business reports, sales pipelines, and performance updates.
• Track business targets, walk-ins, conversion ratios, lead follow-ups, and customer acquisition.
• Identify performance gaps and implement corrective action plans.




• Coordinate with Area Sales Managers and senior management to achieve business objectives. Required Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 3
- 5 years of relevant experience in the Gold Loan Industry.
• Previous experience as a Branch Manager, Senior Branch Manager, or in a comparable branch leadership role within the gold loan sector.
• Proven track record of branch business development, target achievement, and team management.
• Strong knowledge of gold loan business operations, gold valuation processes, customer acquisition, and KYC requirements.
• Experience in handling branch sales, high-value customers, and business conversion.
• Good understanding of the Kolkata market and local customer segments.
• Proficiency in CRM systems, MS Excel, and business reporting. Preferred Candidate Profile
• Professionals currently working or previously employed in established gold loan companies, NBFCs, or relevant financial services organizations.
• Strong business development orientation with the ability to generate business independently.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, customer relationship management, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a target-driven business environment.
• Willingness to undertake local market visits and customer meetings.
• Experience managing branch profitability and building productive sales teams.
