Job Summary

The Assistant Professor in Psychology is responsible for teaching undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses, conducting research, mentoring students, and contributing to academic and administrative activities within the department. The role requires a strong foundation in psychological theories, research methodologies, and a commitment to academic excellence.

Qualification Requirements :
Master’s degree in Psychology (mandatory).
Ph.D. in Psychology (preferred/required as per institution norms).
NET/SET qualification (as per regulatory requirements in India, e.g., UGC norms).
Solid knowledge of research methodologies and statistical tools (SPSS, R, etc.).
Prior teaching or research experience preferred.





Teaching & Academic Duties :
Deliver lectures in core areas of psychology (e.g., cognitive, social, clinical, developmental).
Develop and update course materials, syllabi, and lesson plans.
Use innovative teaching methods (case studies, discussions, digital tools).
Assess student performance through exams, assignments, and projects.
Supervise student research, dissertations, and internships.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
