Role Summary

Responsible for receiving, storing, issuing and recording materials accurately, learning stores practices under the guidance of senior staff.

Key Responsibilities

- Receive materials against purchase orders; check quantity and condition, and verify invoice/DC.

- Prepare GRN and update stock entries in the register / Tally .

- Store items in the correct location with proper labelling; follow FIFO.

- Issue materials to production only against approved requisitions and record every issue.

- Maintain daily stock registers and report shortages, damages and low stock to the manager.

- Assist in monthly and annual physical stock verification.

- Keep the store clean, organised and secure; follow fire-safety norms.

- Coordinate with store assistants, loading/unloading staff and production team.

Qualification:



Diploma in mechanical / any degree relavent industry store experience in manufacturing or fabrication engineering

Skills Required

- Basic MS Excel, inventory management software and familiarity in ERP

- Good attention to detail, honesty and willingness to learn

- Ability to work in shifts if required

- Communication in Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam & English

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
