- Incoming Inspection: Inspect incoming raw materials (granules, master batches, inserts) and ensure compliance with technical specifications and quality parameters.
- In-Process Quality Control (IPQC):
- Monitor the injection moulding process regularly to check for moulding defects such as flash, short shots, sink marks, warpage, weld lines, burn marks, and dimension variations.
- Conduct routine first-article inspection (FAI) and periodic inline checks on cycle times, temperatures, and pressures.
- Dimensional & Visual Testing: Measure dimensions using precision instruments (vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, profile projectors) and perform rigorous visual inspections.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain daily inspection logs, reject logs, material test reports (MTR), and Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) reports.

Defect Analysis & Troubleshooting: Coordinate with the production and moulding floor teams to identify root causes of quality failures and implement corrective measures to minimize scrap and rework
