Your day-to-day

Bring your curiosity to work as our next Proposal Engineer / Sr. Proposal Engineer .You will be part of our Proposal team reporting to Proposal Manager. In this role, your mission is to support sales team in building optimized and innovative solutions. You will contribute directly to how we create high-quality products and solutions for our customers.

We are looking for a Proposal engineer/ Sr. Proposal engineer, to handle the following key responsibilities. * Application Engineering of Tightening Solutions' Requirements (Automation solutions, Multi Spindle Nut Runners, Special attachments, Screw feeding solutions, Torque/Articulated Arms, Process Control Solutions etc.)

- Supporting Sales Team in studying the RFQ, proposing effective solution and prepare techno-commercial offer
- Working with prospective suppliers for budgeting in close coordination with BLM
- Coordinating closely with engineering and purchase functions to develop optimal solutions with competitive pricing.
- Coordinating with global innovation centres
- Supporting preparing the Project Reference Library and Marketing Material
- Supporting the Sales and Marketing team in Business Development activities (as needed)
- Support PM team monitoring the Project Budget vs Actual Cost Utilising SAP for needed data and use it necessarily for Project Costing

Your skills and experience

- Handson experience of Tightening Tools, Controllers, Data Driven Solutions, Other Related Software
- Capable Independent Player vis a vis Team player
- Working very closely with sales and securing OR
- Monitoring "Pre vs Post" OR "Budget vs Actual" as per the set KRA
- Establishing a good relationship with the various stake holders (Customers, Sales, Marketing, Service, Project Team and Suppliers)
- Suggesting ideas towards cost effective solutions
- Regular Travelling to Customer Sites
- Experience in Solidworks or similar software will be an added advantage.
