Job Summary

George Maijo Automobiles Pvt. Ltd. – Maruti Suzuki is looking for a customer-focused Body Shop Advisor for our Cherthala branch. The candidate will be responsible for handling customers, preparing repair estimates, coordinating accident repair jobs, managing insurance-related documentation, and ensuring timely vehicle delivery with high service quality.

Key Responsibilities

- Attend to customers visiting the body shop for accident repairs and vehicle bodywork.
- Inspect vehicles and understand customer concerns related to body damage and repairs.
- Prepare repair estimates and job cards for denting, painting, and accident repair work.
- Coordinate with technicians, the Body Shop Supervisor, and the Body Shop Manager to ensure timely repairs.
- Explain repair procedures, estimated costs, and delivery timelines to customers.
- Coordinate with insurance companies and surveyors for claim processing and approvals.
- Follow up on insurance claims, repair approvals, and pending documentation.
- Keep customers informed about repair progress and vehicle delivery status.
- Ensure completed repair work meets quality standards before vehicle delivery.
- Handle customer queries and complaints professionally.
- Coordinate with the Spare Parts department to ensure the availability of required parts.




- Maintain accurate customer records, job cards, estimates, and insurance documents.
- Conduct customer follow-ups after vehicle delivery to ensure satisfaction.
- Support the achievement of body shop targets and customer satisfaction goals.

Required Qualifications and Experience

- Any degree or diploma preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience is mandatory.
- Experience in an automobile body shop, service centre, or dealership is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of accident repairs, denting, painting, and vehicle bodywork.
- Knowledge of motor insurance claims and repair estimation will be an advantage.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in MS Office.
- Strong coordination, follow-up, and problem-solving abilities.
