- Perform gold, rhodium, rose gold and other plating processes on jewellery.
- Prepare jewellery surfaces through cleaning, polishing, and pre-treatment before plating.
- Operate and maintain plating tanks, rectifiers, chemicals, and related equipment.
- Maintain correct plating thickness, colour, tone, and finishing as per specifications.
- Check jewellery before and after plating for defects, uneven colour, stains, or marks.
- Follow safety procedures while handling plating chemicals and equipment.
- Maintain proper chemical concentration, temperature, voltage, and plating time.
- Minimize wastage and ensure efficient use of chemicals and materials.
- Coordinate with polishing, production, and quality teams for smooth workflow.
- Maintain cleanliness of the plating area and equipment.
- Ability to identify plating defects and perform corrections.
- Positive hand skills, attention to detail, and quality awareness.
- Knowledge of chemical handling and workplace safety.
Experience: 4–7 years in jewellery plating preferred.
