Job Overview

Marikar Group is seeking a confident, articulate, and target-oriented Telecaller for our Canon division in Ernakulam. The role involves managing inbound and outbound customer calls, generating qualified leads for office automation products (such as Canon copiers, multi-function printers, and imaging solutions), and coordinating closely with the field sales team to close inquiries.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead Generation & Outbound Calling: Make regular outbound calls to prospective corporate clients, SMBs, educational institutions, and walk-in leads to pitch Canon products and services.
- Inquiry Management: Handle incoming phone calls, web leads, and digital campaign inquiries efficiently, providing prompt product details and pricing information.
- Appointment Scheduling: Qualify customer requirements over the phone and book verified appointments or direct sales leads for field executive visits/product demonstrations.
- Database & CRM Management: Maintain an updated, accurate database of calls, customer feedback, follow-up timelines, and lead statuses using the company's CRM/tracking system.
- Follow-ups & Client Relations:



Ensure systematic follow-ups with pending or warm leads to maximize conversion rates and maintain positive post-inquiry rapport.
- Reporting: Submit daily and weekly calling reports, lead conversion statistics, and feedback summaries to the Sales Manager.

Candidate Profile & Requirements

- Experience: 0.5 to 2 years of proven experience as a Telecaller, Inside Sales Representative, or Customer Support Executive (experience in office automation, IT hardware, or B2B sales environments is an advantage). Freshers with exceptional communication skills are also welcome to apply.
- Education: Minimum Plus Two (12th Grade) or a Bachelor's Degree (Any Stream).
- Mandatory Skills:
- Fluent and professional verbal communication skills in Malayalam and English (knowledge of Tamil or Hindi is a bonus).
- Good active listening skills with a polite, convincing, and customer-centric telephone etiquette.
- Basic computer literacy (MS Office, email management, and CRM tools).
- Ability to handle rejections professionally and work toward monthly calling/lead targets.

Compensation & Benefits

- Fixed Salary: Up to ₹15,000 per month (based on prior experience and interview performance).
