Online Cybersecurity Instructor (Part-Time / Contract)

Mode: Online (live sessions)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 3 hours per day, 10:30 PM to 1:30 AM IST

About the Role

We are running an online cybersecurity training program and are looking for an experienced instructor to deliver live, practical, industry-focused sessions to learners. You will teach a complete curriculum, from core security tools to AI-driven security and compliance.

Course Modules You Will Teach

- AI Tools and Technologies in Cybersecurity: firewalls, VPNs, Wireshark
- Malware Analysis and Reverse Engineering
- Machine Learning Applied to Cybersecurity
- Generative AI in Cybersecurity
- Cybersecurity Gaps, Goals, Risks, Policies, Limitations and Ethics
- Cybersecurity Compliance

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver live online sessions for 3 hours, Monday to Friday
- Explain concepts clearly and run hands-on demos and labs (e.g., packet analysis in Wireshark, malware analysis exercises)
- Prepare or refine course material, slides, assignments and practical exercises
- Answer learner questions, guide them through problems and give feedback
- Keep content current with new threats, tools and regulations

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity or a related field (or equivalent experience)




- Proven hands-on experience in cybersecurity (recommended: 3+ years)
- Strong knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, network traffic analysis and Wireshark
- Experience in malware analysis and reverse engineering
- Understanding of machine learning and Gen AI applications in security
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks, policies, risk management and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English

Preferred

- Prior teaching, training or mentoring experience
- Certifications such as CEH, CISSP, CompTIA Security+, OSCP, GCIH or similar
- Experience with online teaching platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.)

Technical Requirements

- Reliable high-speed internet, laptop/PC, headset and webcam
- Availability during night hours (10:30 PM to 1:30 AM)
