Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Die Maintenance Technician for our High Pressure Die Casting (HPDC) manufacturing unit. The candidate will be responsible for preventive maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and upkeep of HPDC dies to ensure smooth production and minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities

Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of HPDC dies.

Inspect, repair, and maintain die casting moulds, cores, ejector pins, sliders, and inserts.

Identify and rectify die-related issues such as flash, leakage, sticking, and dimensional defects.

Carry out die polishing, fitting, assembly, and dismantling.

Maintain die cooling lines, ejector systems, and moving components.

Coordinate with production and quality teams to reduce die-related rejection and downtime.

Maintain die maintenance records and checklists.

Ensure proper handling, storage, and maintenance of dies.





Candidate Requirements

Qualification: ITI Fitter / Tool & Die Maker / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience: 2–5 years in die maintenance, preferably in the Aluminium HPDC industry.

Knowledge of HPDC die construction, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Experience in die fitting, polishing, grinding, and assembly.

Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring instruments.

Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
