Department: Stores & Material Control

Reports To: Plant Head / Operations Head

Job Purpose

To manage receipt, storage, inventory, issue, and dispatch while ensuring accurate stock records, traceability, and uninterrupted production support.

Key Responsibilities

- Receive raw materials, bought-out components, tooling, and consumables against purchase orders.
- Verify quantities, identification, and documents; coordinate incoming inspection with Quality.
- Prepare GRNs and update ERP/Excel stock records promptly.
- Issue materials against approved requirements and maintain issue records.
- Monitor stock, minimum/reorder levels, and shortages.
- Maintain storage, identification, lot traceability, FIFO, and material preservation.
- Control of raw materials, WIP, finished goods, tooling, and consumables.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Quality, and PPC.




- Conduct physical inventory and investigate stock discrepancies.
- Maintain material issue slips, stock reports, and inventory records.
- Control scrap, rejected, excess, and obsolete inventory with authorization.
- Support packing, dispatch documentation, and finished goods handover.
Maintain protected handling, cleanliness, and 5S.

Qualifications & Experience

Education: Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical, Production, or relevant engineering discipline.

Experience: 2–5 years in manufacturing stores, inventory management, and material control.

Key Skills: Inventory control, ERP/Excel, GRN, FIFO, stock reconciliation, traceability, production coordination.
