Technical Scrum Master

About the Role

- We are looking for a Certified Scrum Master with 5+ years experience, who can lead cross-functional engineering teams through agile delivery, act as an Agile Delivery Manager across one or more teams, and bring a technical product manager's understanding to planning and prioritisation. You will help teams deliver reliably, remove blockers, and keep the work aligned with business objectives.
- You will work with product, engineering, QA and DevOps to turn requirements into predictable delivery, and you will coach teams on agile practice rather than simply running ceremonies.

Key Responsibilities

- Facilitate Scrum events (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives) and coach teams to improve their agile practice over time.
- Act as Agile Delivery Manager for one or more teams, tracking delivery progress, risks, dependencies and capacity.
- Lead technical teams through planning, estimation and prioritisation, working closely with the technical product manager on the product backlog.
- Provide cross-functional team leadership across engineering, QA, DevOps and stakeholders, removing impediments quickly.
- Drive agile leadership by modelling servant leadership, building team ownership and encouraging continuous improvement.
- Manage project plans, milestones, budgets and reporting, and communicate status clearly to leadership and customers.
- Coordinate release planning and track agile metrics such as velocity, cycle time and predictability.
- Support the adoption of agile practices across teams, including scaled agile where relevant.

Essential Skills and Experience

- Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM or equivalent).
- 5+ years of experience in agile delivery,



including facilitating Scrum for software or engineering teams.
- Experience as an Agile Delivery Manager or equivalent, running delivery for one or more teams.
- Experience leading technical teams and working alongside a technical product manager.
- Proven cross-functional team leadership across engineering, QA, DevOps and business stakeholders.
- Strong agile leadership skills, including coaching, conflict resolution and impediment removal.
- Solid project management experience, covering planning, risk management, dependency tracking and reporting.
- Working knowledge of Jira or similar agile tooling and of software delivery practices such as CI/CD.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to explain delivery status to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Desired Skills and Experience
- Experience with Secure, Kanban or other scaled agile frameworks.
- Background in embedded, telecom or public-sector software delivery.
- Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2 or similar qualification.
- Experience with technical product management, roadmap planning or backlog ownership.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,070,000.00 per year
