- Operate and set up 4-axis OR 5-axis Vertical Machining Center (VMC) machines.
- Interpret engineering drawings and multi-axis CAM programs for machining operations.
- Perform tool setting, offset adjustments, and program loading for 4-axis machining.
- Handle rotary axis operations and machining of complex profiles.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy using precision measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, CMM preferred).
- Optimize machining parameters for productivity, tool life, and surface finish.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain production quality standards.
- Report daily production and highlight any technical issues to supervisors.
Experience Required
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience operating 4-axis OR 5-Axis VMC machines.
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming (G/M codes) and CAM software integration.
- Familiarity with multi-axis machining, fixtures, and advanced tooling concepts.
- Ability to work independently and meet production targets.
- Experience in mold/tooling, automotive, or precision component manufacturing is desirable.
