Qualification MPT in Neurology / Neurological Physiotherapy Experience Minimum 4–5 years of relevant clinical experience Location New Ranip, Ahmedabad Employment Full time / Part-time, as per clinic requirement Salary Competitive; based on experience and clinical skills Position Overview We are seeking an experienced MPT (Neurology) physiotherapist to independently consult, assess, and treat neurological and pediatric patients. The selected candidate will design individualized rehabilitation plans, deliver safe evidence-based interventions, communicate effectively with patients and caregivers, and document meaningful functional progress. Key Responsibilities Patient consultation and assessment  Independently conduct initial consultations, collect relevant history, and perform comprehensive neurological and pediatric assessments.  Assess tone, strength, range of motion, reflexes, posture, balance, coordination, gait, motor milestones, mobility, and activities of daily living as appropriate.  Set realistic, measurable rehabilitation goals and explain the care plan and expected progress to patients and families.  Reassess regularly, document outcomes, and adjust treatment according to clinical response. Neurological rehabilitation  Assess and manage cases such as stroke, hemiplegia/hemiparesis, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, GBS, peripheral nerve injury, and balance or gait disorders.  Provide individualized neurorehabilitation including task-specific training, mobility retraining, balance and gait training, strengthening, and functional independence training. Pediatric rehabilitation  Assess and treat children with cerebral palsy, global developmental delay, delayed motor milestones, toe walking, hypotonia/hypertonia, neuromuscular disorders, and other movement or developmental conditions.  Use age-appropriate, play-based motor interventions, positioning, handling, balance work, gait training,



and caregiver-guided home programs.  Collaborate with families and other professionals when a child requires multidisciplinary care.

Treatment quality and operations  Maintain clear assessment, treatment, reassessment, and progress records in accordance with clinic protocols.  Educate caregivers, provide suitable home exercises, and support adherence to rehabilitation goals.  Ensure patient safety, infection control, equipment care, confidentiality, and professional conduct.  Coordinate with the Senior Consultant Physiotherapist, participate in case reviews, and guide junior staff when required. Required Qualifications and Skills  MPT (Neurology) from a recognized institution and appropriate professional registration.  At least 4–5 years of relevant hands-on clinical experience, including both adult neuro and pediatric rehabilitation.  Ability to independently assess, exercise clinical judgment, plan treatment, and manage complex cases within professional scope.  Good knowledge of neurological examination, child motor development, gait and balance rehabilitation, and functional outcome measures.  Strong patient and parent communication, empathy, teamwork, punctuality, and documentation skills. Preferred Experience  Experience in a dedicated Neuro and Pediatric Rehabilitation Center or multidisciplinary setting.  Additional training or demonstrated competency in approaches such as NDT/Bobath, PNF, motor learning, and task-oriented rehabilitation, applied when appropriate. Performance Expectations  Provide safe, consistent, patient-centered care and independently manage assigned caseloads.  Demonstrate progress through documented reassessment and appropriate functional outcome measures; recovery cannot be guaranteed.  Follow clinic SOPs and communicate patient progress and treatment changes clearly.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
