1. Job Summary

IACR Research Institute is looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Critical Care Medicine Trainer to deliver skilled training to healthcare students and graduates in intensive care, critical patient management, ICU operations, life-support systems and emergency care.

The ideal candidate should have practical experience in Intensive Care Units (ICUs), Critical Care Units or Emergency Departments and possess strong teaching and clinical demonstration skills.

2. Key Responsibilities

- Deliver comprehensive training in Critical Care Medicine.
- Teach ICU protocols, patient monitoring and critical patient assessment.
- Explain mechanical ventilation and respiratory support fundamentals.
- Train students in vital signs monitoring and hemodynamic assessment.
- Teach shock management and sepsis management principles.
- Explain airway management and oxygen therapy.
- Provide training in cardiac monitoring and ECG fundamentals.
- Cover emergency resuscitation and life-support principles.
- Explain fluid management and electrolyte imbalances.
- Teach infection prevention and ICU patient safety.
- Introduce ICU equipment and medical devices.
- Conduct clinical case discussions and simulation-based training.
- Develop academic materials, presentations and assessments.
- Evaluate student performance and provide career guidance.

4. Educational Qualifications

- MBBS with relevant Critical Care experience.
- MD/DNB in Anaesthesiology.
- MD/DNB in General Medicine with Critical Care experience.
- DM/DrNB Critical Care Medicine preferred.
- Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine with relevant clinical experience.
- Other relevant postgraduate qualifications may be considered based on clinical expertise and teaching capability.

5. Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of ICU and Critical Care protocols.
- Practical experience in patient monitoring.
- Knowledge of ventilators and life-support equipment.
- Understanding of emergency and resuscitation procedures.
- Knowledge of sepsis, shock and organ failure management.
- Excellent teaching and presentation skills.
- Ability to conduct case-based and simulation-based training.
- Good communication and classroom management skills.

6. Experience

- Minimum 2 years of relevant clinical or teaching experience preferred.
- Experience working in ICUs, CCUs or Critical Care Departments.
- Experience in healthcare education and clinical training is an advantage.

7. Compensation
