Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Contracts Engineer to manage tendering, procurement and contract administration for high-end developments, from package preparation through final commercial closure.

Mandatory Experience

- Relevant contracts experience in high-end hospitality, commercial and premium residential developments.
- Hands-on experience managing tendering and contract administration on at least one project with a total project value exceeding ₹500 crore.
- Experience with civil, structural, architectural, finishing and specialist packages, with working knowledge of MEP procurement coordination.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare procurement plans and tender schedules aligned with the project programme.
- Prepare and review tender documents, scope descriptions, BOQs, specifications and commercial conditions with the project team.
- Identify suitable contractors, conduct prequalification and coordinate tender enquiries.
- Manage pre-bid queries, clarifications, addenda and bid submissions.
- Prepare detailed technical and commercial comparisons,



identifying scope gaps, exclusions and qualifications.
- Conduct negotiations and prepare award recommendations, LOIs, work orders and contract agreements.
- Clearly document deliverables, milestones, payment terms, securities, warranties and contractor obligations.
- Administer contracts after award, including notices, variations, extra items, claims and extension-of-time assessments.
- Monitor contractual compliance, bank guarantees, insurance validity and commercial commitments.
- Coordinate with billing and site teams to verify the contractual basis of payments and claims.
- Maintain contract registers, variation logs and cost-commitment reports.
- Support final account settlement and contract closure with the project, finance and legal teams.

Required Skills

Robust tendering, negotiation, rate-analysis and contract-administration skills, with proficiency in MS Excel and commercial documentation. Developer/client-side experience will be preferred.
