Service Manager

Department: Service
Experience: Minimum 5 years in automobile service

Monthly Gross Salary: ₹35,000–₹40,000, based on merit

Monthly Incentives: ₹8,000–₹10,000

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Service Manager to oversee the dealership’s after-sales service operations. The candidate will manage the service team, ensure efficient workshop operations, maintain service quality, resolve customer escalations, and improve overall customer satisfaction. Candidates with strong automobile service experience and managerial capabilities are preferred. Electric vehicle experience will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage daily service operations and ensure the smooth functioning of the service department.
- Lead and supervise Service Advisors, technicians, and other service personnel.
- Allocate service jobs and monitor repair and maintenance activities.
- Ensure accurate diagnosis, timely repairs, and quality service delivery.
- Monitor service turnaround time, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Handle customer complaints and service escalations professionally.




- Coordinate with the parts team to ensure the availability of required components.
- Monitor service revenue, operational costs, and departmental performance.
- Maintain service records, job cards, reports, and other relevant documentation.
- Ensure compliance with dealership procedures and workplace safety practices.
- Train team members and improve technical and customer service capabilities.
- Stay updated on EV technology, diagnostics, and maintenance procedures.

Requirements:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in automobile service operations.
- Previous supervisory or managerial experience is preferred.
- Strong technical understanding of automobile servicing, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
- Experience in the electric vehicle industry will be an added advantage.
- Good leadership, managerial, and people-management skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications.
- Strong customer-handling and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in English, Kannada, and Hindi.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
