About the Role

Qurbat Apparels Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Buyer for its Plus Size Division who has solid expertise in the Indian ethnic wear segment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for product selection, buying, vendor management, and ensuring product availability based on customer demand.

Key Responsibilities

* Plan and execute buying strategies for the Plus Size Division.

* Identify and select suitable Indian ethnic wear products based on market trends and customer preferences.

* Conduct market research to understand emerging trends, competitor offerings, and customer demand.

* Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for product sourcing, pricing, quality, and timely deliveries.

* Manage product assortment, size ranges, pricing, and inventory availability.





* Analyse sales data and stock movement to make informed buying decisions.

* Work closely with the design, merchandising, and retail teams to ensure the right product mix.

* Support the growth of the Plus Size Division, including potential expansion into exclusive plus-size stores.

Required Qualifications & Experience

* Minimum 5+ years of experience in buying, preferably in the apparel or fashion retail industry.

* Prior experience in the Indian ethnic wear segment is mandatory.

* Experience in buying plus-size apparel will be an added advantage.

* Strong understanding of Indian ethnic wear, fabric, fits, sizing, and fashion trends.

* Excellent vendor negotiation, costing, and sourcing skills.

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
