Experience

1–2 years of relevant experience in accounts/finance, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setup

Certifications (Preferred)

Working knowledge of Tally/SAP ERP; basic exposure to GST and TDS compliance; MS Excel proficiency

Key Responsibilities / Job Role

Accounts & Financial Reporting

– Assist in day-to-day booking of accounting entries, including journal vouchers, purchase and sales entries.

– Support monthly closing activities and preparation of basic schedules for financial statements.

– Maintain fixed asset registers and assist with depreciation working under supervision.

Taxation & Statutory Compliance

– Assist in preparation and filing of GST, TDS and other statutory returns under guidance.

– Maintain documentation and records required for statutory, internal and tax audits.

– Support the team in collating data for tax assessments and audit queries.

MIS & Reporting Support

– Prepare routine MIS reports, data sheets and basic variance summaries as directed.





– Assist in compiling data for the annual budgeting and forecasting process.

Banking & Reconciliations

– Perform day-to-day banking transactions and maintain bank reconciliation statements.

– Carry out vendor and customer reconciliations and follow up on discrepancies.

– Track receivables and payables and escalate ageing items to the Manager.

Process & Systems

– Enter and update data accurately in the ERP system (Tally/SAP/Oracle).

– Support the Manager in process documentation and adherence to Internal Financial Controls (IFC).

Key Skills & Competencies

▪ Basic working knowledge of accounting principles, GST and TDS provisions.

▪ Working knowledge of ERP systems (Tally/SAP/Oracle) and MS Excel.

▪ Good attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting.

▪ Willingness to learn, with a structured and process-oriented approach.

▪ Positive communication skills and ability to coordinate within the team.

▪ Ability to work under deadlines and manage routine tasks independently.
