Job overview

We are looking for an experienced AutoCAD and BIM Trainer to deliver practical, engaging training to learners at beginner and advanced levels. The successful candidate will teach AutoCAD drafting and BIM workflows, support learners with hands-on projects, and maintain course materials that reflect current industry practices.

Responsibilities

- Deliver instructor-led training in AutoCAD and BIM software, including Autodesk Revit.
- Teach drafting and documentation skills such as layers, blocks, dimensions, layouts, plotting, and drawing standards.
- Teach BIM principles and workflows, including model creation, project setup, documentation, coordination, and collaboration.
- Prepare lesson plans, exercises, project files, and assessments.
- Provide hands-on support and feedback to learners.
- Evaluate learner progress through assignments, practical exercises, and projects.
- Troubleshoot common software and design issues.
- Keep training materials up to date with software features and industry practices.
- Maintain attendance,



assessment, and course-completion records.

Qualifications

- Practical experience using AutoCAD and BIM software, preferably Autodesk Revit.
- Experience in architecture, engineering, construction, drafting, or a related field.
- Previous teaching, training, mentoring, or coaching experience preferred.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and explain design workflows clearly.
- Strong communication, presentation, and classroom-management skills.
- Relevant diploma, degree, or professional certification preferred.

Preferred qualifications

- Experience delivering in-person or online training.
- Knowledge of BIM coordination and collaboration workflows.
- Familiarity with Navisworks, Civil 3D, or other related applications.
