Job Summary
We are looking for a Purchase Executive with experience in garment trims sourcing and procurement. The role involves sourcing trims and accessories, coordinating with suppliers, negotiating prices, and ensuring timely availability of materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and procure garment trims and accessories as per requirements.
- Handle sourcing of labels, buttons, zippers, elastics, threads, tapes, and other garment accessories.
- Identify and develop reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Obtain quotations and compare prices, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Negotiate prices and commercial terms with suppliers.
- Coordinate with suppliers for samples, approvals, and bulk orders.
- Follow up on purchase orders and ensure timely delivery.
- Coordinate with merchandising,
production, stores, and other internal teams.
- Maintain purchase records and supplier details.
- Monitor market prices and identify cost-effective sourcing opportunities.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in garment trims sourcing/purchase.
- Good knowledge of garment trims and accessories.
- Experience in vendor development and price negotiation.
- Good follow-up and coordination skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems.
- Valuable communication skills.
Qualification
- Any Graduate / Diploma with relevant experience.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
