About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented TDS Executive with 1–2 years of hands-on experience in TDS compliance, GST support, and accounting-related activities. The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of tax deductions, return filing, reconciliations, and statutory deadlines, along with strong Excel skills and a commitment to accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare, verify, and file quarterly TDS returns within prescribed statutory deadlines.
- Calculate and deduct TDS under applicable sections of the Income Tax Act and verify deductions against supporting documents.
- Prepare TDS workings, challans, ledgers, and reconciliation statements.
- Ensure timely payment of TDS liabilities and resolve discrepancies in tax records.
- Download, verify, and issue Form 16A certificates through the TRACES portal.
- Reconcile TDS data with Form 26AS, TRACES records, and books of accounts.
- Assist in GST compliance, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and related reconciliations.




- Perform GST reconciliations covering purchase and sales data, Input Tax Credit (ITC), and vendor records.
- Maintain accurate tax documentation, statutory records, and compliance trackers.
- Prepare MIS reports and support tax audits, notices, assessments, and other compliance activities.
- Coordinate with clients and internal teams to collect documents, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely compliance.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Practical knowledge of TDS provisions, return filing, challan payments, and statutory compliance.
- Working knowledge of GST returns, ITC reconciliation, and basic accounting principles.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Conditional Formatting, and data reconciliation.
- Familiarity with the TRACES, Income Tax, and GST portals.
- Knowledge of Tally, ERP systems, or tax compliance software will be an added advantage.
- Solid analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills with a proactive approach to resolving discrepancies.
