Location: JSW Mahanadi Power Plant, Akaltara, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh
Reports to: Execution Engineer / Site In-charge
Experience: [2-5] years as a field supervisor
Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Fitter or Welder trade, or equivalent experience
Responsibilities
- Supervise fitters, welders, riggers, helpers and excavation crews on the ground
- Make sure work is done as per drawings and instructions from the engineer
- Arrange daily manpower, tools, consumables and lifting equipment
- Supervise pipe lowering, alignment, joint fit-up and welding
- Check the safety of trench work, lifting operations and hot work, and ensure PPE use
- Record daily attendance, work done and materials used
- Report problems, shortages and delays to the engineer immediately
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in pipeline or structural erection
- Ability to read basic drawings and manage a gang of workers
- Knowledge of site safety practices
- Hindi required; local language is a plus
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
