Job Title: CFD & FEA Simulation Engineer
Department: Engineering – Design, Analysis & R&D;
Job Location: Hyderabad, Telangana, India
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experience: 1–2 Years (relevant experience preferred)

1. About Adyaha Ways Pvt. Ltd.

Adyaha Ways Pvt. Ltd. is an engineering R&D; and product development company specializing in advanced engineering design, simulation, analysis, and prototype development. Our work involves solving complex engineering problems across mechanical systems, motors, thermal management, aerospace components, and other innovative engineering applications.

We are looking for a highly motivated CFD & FEA Simulation Engineer with expertise in both Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Finite Element Analysis (FEA), capable of converting engineering concepts into reliable simulation-based solutions.

2. Job Summary

The candidate will be responsible for performing independent CFD and FEA simulations, developing computational models, evaluating engineering performance, and preparing technical reports. The role requires strong fundamentals in fluid mechanics, heat transfer, solid mechanics, numerical methods, and engineering problem-solving.

The ideal candidate should be proficient in ANSYS simulation tools and capable of working across fluid flow, thermal, structural, vibration, and multiphysics engineering problems.

3. Key Responsibilities

A. Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)

- Perform CFD simulations for internal and external fluid flow applications.
- Conduct steady-state and transient flow analyses.
- Perform aerodynamic and hydrodynamic studies, including pressure distribution, velocity fields, drag, lift, and flow separation.
- Carry out conjugate heat transfer (CHT), thermal management, and fluid–thermal interaction analyses.
- Develop computational domains, generate meshes, and perform mesh-independence studies.
- Define appropriate boundary conditions, material properties, turbulence models, and solver settings.
- Interpret simulation results and recommend design improvements based on engineering analysis.
- Validate CFD results against analytical calculations, experimental data, or established engineering correlations wherever applicable.

B. Finite Element Analysis (FEA)

- Perform linear and nonlinear static structural analyses.
- Conduct transient structural, modal, harmonic response, and vibration analyses as required.
- Evaluate stress, strain, deformation, contact forces,

and structural integrity.
- Perform thermal and thermo-structural analyses.
- Conduct fatigue, buckling, and factor-of-safety assessments where applicable.
- Prepare geometry for simulation, generate suitable meshes, and perform mesh-convergence studies.
- Define contacts, joints, supports, loading conditions, and other relevant boundary conditions.
- Identify critical stress regions, potential failure modes, and opportunities for structural optimization.

C. Engineering Design & Multiphysics Analysis

- Perform coupled CFD–thermal–structural analyses where required.
- Support design and development of mechanical components, enclosures, rotating machinery, motors, aerospace assemblies, and thermal management systems.
- Evaluate the effects of operating loads, pressure, temperature, vibration, and acceleration on component performance.
- Collaborate with design engineers to improve product performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
- Support topology optimization, design optimization, and parametric studies where applicable.
- Assist in correlating simulation results with prototype testing and experimental measurements.

D. Simulation Reporting & Documentation

- Prepare detailed technical reports containing objectives, assumptions, methodology, geometry, mesh details, boundary conditions, solver settings, results, and conclusions.
- Generate professional plots, contours, vector fields, animations, and graphical representations of simulation results.
- Maintain simulation files, calculation records, and engineering documentation.
- Present technical findings and design recommendations to internal teams and clients.

4. Required Technical Skills

CFD:

- ANSYS Fluent
- Fluid mechanics and heat transfer
- Turbulence modelling, including appropriate RANS models
- Meshing, convergence assessment, and result interpretation
- Thermal analysis and conjugate heat transfer

FEA:

- ANSYS Mechanical and ANSYS Workbench, Space Claim, ICEPAK
- Structural, thermal, modal, and transient analyses
- Contact modelling, nonlinear analysis, and mesh convergence
- Stress analysis, deformation assessment, and structural validation

Additional Skills:

- SolidWorks or equivalent CAD software
- Geometry cleanup and preparation for simulation
- Engineering calculations and numerical methods
- MATLAB or Python for post-processing, automation, and engineering calculations
- Technical report preparation and presentation

5. Educational Qualifications

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
- M.E./M.Tech in Thermal Engineering, Design Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related specialization will be an advantage.

6. Experience Requirements

- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in CFD and FEA simulations.
- Demonstrated ability to independently execute simulation projects from geometry preparation through final reporting.
- Candidates with strong fundamentals and demonstrable academic or industrial projects in both CFD and FEA may also be considered.
- Experience in aerospace, rotating machinery, motors, thermal systems, or product development will be an advantage.

7. Preferred Candidate Profile

The candidate should possess:

- Strong fundamentals in fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, heat transfer, and solid mechanics.
- Practical expertise in both CFD and FEA rather than familiarity with only one discipline.
- The ability to select suitable physical models, boundary conditions, material properties, and solver settings.
- A systematic approach to troubleshooting convergence issues and evaluating numerical accuracy.
- Robust analytical, documentation, and technical communication skills.
- The ability to work independently and manage multiple engineering assignments.

8. Key Performance Expectations

- Deliver technically sound and well-documented CFD and FEA analyses.
- Demonstrate mesh independence and appropriate convergence checks.
- Provide clear engineering interpretations rather than only simulation plots.
- Identify design risks and recommend practical improvements.
- Complete assigned simulation projects within agreed timelines.
- Support design verification, prototype development, and engineering R&D; activities.

9. How to Apply

Interested candidates may submit their updated CV along with a brief description of their CFD and FEA projects, software proficiency, and examples of relevant simulation experience.
