Job Description – Business Development Manager (BDM)

About the Role

Ganpati Homez is looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Manager for its Lighting Division. The ideal candidate should have relevant experience in the lighting industry, strong market knowledge, and the ability to develop business relationships and drive revenue growth for our premium and decorative lighting products.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop new business opportunities and expand the customer base for the Lighting Division.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, interior designers, builders, contractors, electricians, dealers, and other key clients.
- Promote premium decorative lights, designer lighting, and other lighting solutions.
- Identify recent market opportunities and generate qualified business leads.
- Conduct regular market visits and client meetings to develop business.
- Drive sales growth by converting leads into business opportunities and achieving assigned targets.
- Develop and maintain a strong network of dealers, channel partners, and corporate clients.
- Coordinate with the showroom sales team to improve lead conversion and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends,



and customer requirements.
- Prepare regular business development reports and provide updates to management.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Graduate in any discipline; a relevant qualification in sales or marketing is preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in the lighting, electrical, or allied industry.
- Candidates with experience in decorative lighting, premium lighting products, or lighting showrooms will be preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and client relationship management skills.
- Proven ability to generate business, develop market networks, and achieve sales targets.
- Willingness to travel for market visits and client meetings as required.
